Whichever focal length you choose please make sure to center your scene properly! This is set with Chris way too much to the left, half of his seat is cut. A little person in my mind tried to move the camera to set it right for the whole video!

Woah. I didn't even consider Nikon in my search (moving from my d750 for a video camera). I hope this puts a lot of pressure on pricing for a7V. But recording raw too? This maybe my next camera. That EVF, video capabilities is amazing.

so there is no way to just tilt the screen behind the camera? just a fully articulate screen? that‘s a step in the wrong direction for photographers for street and macro I don‘t care about video and I don‘t care about articulating screens so buying into Nikon seems to have been the wrong decision they don‘t make cameras for photography anymore

Seems to me the X-T3 will become the next cult classic. Faster readout, lower MP gets you closer to analog look, I believe you go much further and you get more clinical detail, not found in film lenses/medium. I prefer the shallower grip bump to the new grip bump on the X-T5, makes the 3 a bit more svelte. But I guess the 5 is going to be the king for some time. I think the 3 could become soon what the X-T2 and X-Pro 1 were to many before this generation of Fuji users.

It's hard to put my finger on why, but the footage from this camera just looks professional, more so than any 4:2:2 10 bit. I guess it just comes down to compression and the 12 bit color fidelity, but it really does look cleaner to me.

I understand you guys get excited with vibrating toys..... but why not use a high power leaf blower, long exposure and something to interrupt the airflow to create real wind variation on the camera.

Pentax did a very poor job explaining why the kf seems just like a rebrand. The intro level models have been having a "solenoid" problem, and have addressed this in...2020/21? But by then the k50/KS2/k70 reputation had been hit, so they gave the k70 a 'fresh start' by renaming it. Now, it definitely would have helped if they added something, like 4k video, but overall, it's a mechanical fix and rebrand to restart entry level reputation. Note, at the same time, Pentax was working on the k-3 iii monochrome, which has been receiving rave reviews, and a split frame film camera. So considering how small Pentax is, that's a pretty steady forward movement from them

At 1:16, there's a round dark spot in the blue sky? Can someone tell me if it's due to dirt in the cell or what? I have a similar spot on my Fuji X-T2 camera. Can it be removed by cleaning? Thanks in advance🙏

150-600 is painful to handhold! BAD choice! 100-400 Sigma is light, cheap and will serve you well.

I love that we are acting like 6.3 vs 6.7 is a huge difference in apertures (between this and the Sony 200-600), that isn't even half a stop.

I definitely wouldn't go for a Micro 4/3. I always wanted one but the high noise level is too noticeable for my personal taste (Maybe not for others, but for me it is) In that case my top would be: 1000USD canon R10: I have it and it is a good camera, which combined with the rf100-400 works very well, although there are some missed shots. Under 2000 dollars. I would go for a Sony a6700. Its autofocus is excellent and it also has the legendary and unmatched 200-600. Under 3000: Canon R6 mark II, which is incredible. Many find it has better AF than the Sony a7IV. Under 4000: Canon R5. My main camera that works for everything. For bird photography it is incredible. There's a reason why Jan Wegener highlights it so much. With the RF100-500 it is a luxury. Under 5000: Nikon z8: the queen of queens in terms of resolution and autofocus ratio. It is in other leagues with its new firmware. Finally the emperor, the Sony a9III with its global sensor is exquisite, but low resolution for some. If you are not so picky, a Panasonic G9II is perfect given the cheapness of its optics. Greetings.

xe4 is x100 with interchangable lenses nice looks enough pixels no brainer.

It would have been nicer if the Internal Audio was float too, so you can attach the Mic to the camera not the extra gizmo... Although I tend too just clip on a DJI Mic-2 somewhere to get float audio. I'm told late July for the U.K. so I'll have a closer look then, unless I spot a Panny rep in a camera shop in the meantime, as they'll probably have one with them...

It seems one year later that the AF in video mode is terrible and unreliable. Recent tests on RUclips show how bad it looks even compared to old Sony APS-C cameras. I am glad I have a Sony A7iv.

Thanks for the video. However, you are both wrong. The best focal length is equal to the diagonal of the image formed when the lens is focused on infinity. The diagonal of a 24x36mm full-frame image is 43.267mm. The diagonal of an APS-C image is 28.3mm. The diagonal of a micro 4/3 image is 21.6mm. The diagonal of a 6x6cm medium format image is 79.2mm. The diagonal of a 4x5 inch large format image is 162.6mm.

The resolution quality on the HERO 11 is compromised in some way for the standard 16x9 ratio. I can't quite put my finger as to why, but it usually looks very poor on my gopro, along with the colors coming out more bland than they should be. I have all of the settings set to where it would optimize the color and resolution to it's best and compared to my HERO 8 (with identical settings turned on), this one takes a huge backseat in terms of quality. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this camera?
